This is how my journey began.
I started studying computer science at my local university in summer 2021. After just a few months, I already fell behind and dropped out. I decided to try again next year and took the rest of the year off. During my gap year, I didn’t do much and when I looked around, the majority of people I knew were either in school or working a nine-to-five job. I wasn’t in the traditional system anymore like everyone else and I started to view things differently.
I realized that I didn’t want to end up in an office, working 40 hours a week until I’m 65 – so why would I study for it then? I decided to do something completely different. I saw people making tons of money online with dropshipping and gave it a shot, yeah I know… not so different after all. Spoiler alert: After spending more than $300 on a webstore, product, camera stand etc. I didn’t make a single sale and quit.
That’s when I discovered blog writing. I was skeptical at first and not sure if I’d like writing articles forever, but I decided to give it a go. My first thought was cars – cool topic, right? Problem was, I’m no mechanic and learning everything about cars from scratch whilst figuring out blogging is way too complicated.
Then it hit me: why not write about the very thing I’m learning? Blog writing itself! And you know what? The process of learning how to write, build a website, create content – is actually fun. Sure, writing only about blogs can get boring, that’s why I combined it with other interesting topics that are closely related, like AI and SEO – and that’s where I’m at right now.
